Where is the apartment located?
Our apartment is situated in a prime location in the middle of Mayrhofen, right next to a grocery shop with its own bakery. The main street with shops, restaurants and bars as well as the public tennis courts, the swimming pool and the ice skating rink can easily be reached on foot in a few minutes. The mountain railways to the Penken and Ahorn skiing and hiking areas are also close to our house - in winter, the free ski bus takes you there directly from the stop near our house.
What time can I check in?
Check-in at is from 16:00 on arrival day. You’re arriving later? No problem, just let us know. We’re here for you around the clock!
What time do I have to leave the apartment on departure day?
Check-out is at 10.00 hrs on departure day. We kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by then.
Is there somewhere to store luggage if we arrive earlier or leave later?
Of course, you are welcome to store your luggage with us if you arrive before check-in and your apartment is not yet ready, or if you would like to stroll around Mayrhofen on departure day without having to drag your luggage around with you.
Where can I park my car and is there a parking fee?
You can park your car directly at the house - this parking space is of course free of charge for our house guests. There is also a charging station for e-cars - however, a fee is charged for this service.
Are cots and highchairs provided?
Yes, we are happy to provide cots and highchairs free of charge - please be sure to let us know exactly what you require before arrival.
Can I bring my pet to the apartment?
Of course you are allowed to bring your pet - upon prior request. We kindly ask for your understanding that an additional fee will be charged for your pet’s stay.
Is the house equipped with internet?
High-speed internet and Wi-Fi are available to our guests free of charge throughout the house.
Is smoking allowed in the apartment?
No, smoking is not allowed in the apartment. However, you are welcome to smoke outside of the house on the terrace.
Are there cable cars close to the apartment?
There are two cable car systems near the apartment - the Penkenbahn in the centre of town and the Ahornbahn. Both cable cars are easily accessible on foot in just a few minutes, alternatively you can also use the free ski buses that operate during the winter season.
Is there a ski rental shop nearby?
Greenroom ski rental shop is conveniently close, where you can rent your ski equipment as soon as you arrive.
Where can you book ski courses?
There are several ski schools with whom you can book ski courses in the middle of the high street in Mayrhofen, around a 5-minute walk away.
Where is the nearest grocery shop?
Directly next to our house there is a supermarket with a its own bakery.
Are there restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation?
Yes, as our aparmtent is located in the heart of Mayrhofen, there are a variety of restaurants that you can reach on foot in no time at all. Your restaurant guide Martin will be happy to give you further information and recommendations.
Do you also offer breakfast or half-board meals?
No, the apartment cannot be booked with breakfast or half board, but many restaurants in the vicinity offer a large breakfast menu.
Where can you shop in Mayrhofen, is there a good choice of shops?
Yes, in Mayrhofen there are all kinds of shops on the high street (approx. 5 minutes walk away) that make shopping a pleasure.
Is there a swimming pool nearby?
Erlebnisbad Mayrhofen leisure pool with indoor pool, outdoor pool and sauna is located in walking distance, to which our house guests enjoy free entry with the Extra-Bonus during the summer season. Admission is also free to the Sommerwelt Hippach leisure facility in the next village.
Is there an ice rink nearby?
Yes, the ice-skating rink with curling lane is just a 5-minute walk away.
Can you also play tennis in Mayrhofen?
Yes, the public tennis court is also only 5 minute's walk away from our house. Our house guests can use the courts there for free during the summer season with the Extra-Bonus.
Where is the nearest fitness centre?
Shape fitness centre in Mayrhofen is about 15 minutes' walk from our apartment.
Is there a doctor nearby?
There are three general practitioners on the high street in Mayrhofen (approx. 5 minutes' walk away): Dr. Katharina Weber-Gredler, Dr. Moser & Dr. Niedertscheider and Dr. Olga Shafe.
Is there a clinic nearby?
Sportclinic Zillertal with specialist care for sports injuries is 2 km away from our house. The nearest district hospital is in Schwaz, approx. 40 km away.
What cancellation conditions apply to the apartment?
If you cancel more than three months before your planned departure date, we will not charge you anything. From 3 months to 1 month before arrival we charge 40% of the apartment price, 1 month to 1 week before arrival we charge 70% of the apartment price, within 7 days before arrival we charge 90% of the apartment price. We kindly ask for your understanding that we must charge 100 % of the apartment price in case of non-arrival.
Do I have to pay a deposit and how do I pay the remaining amount?
Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total price is due 14 days after booking. You can then pay the balance when you are here either in cash, by EC or credit card or by bank transfer.
